April “Garden Tips” #1

spring-blossomThere really is no parallel to the thrill of seeing a landscape “wake up” from winter dormancy. Winter drabness flees the advancement of spring’s display. What could serve to energize us more? Maybe to plant that tree you always wanted, or plant a new kind of shrub, or order a new landscape feature, or garden with containers – or? Let us know how we can help.

This literally is the busiest time of the year; totally understandable, because it is so very important.

If you want to enjoy spring’s display to the fullest, it will happen now because we prepared for it last fall.

If you want to enjoy a beautiful turf in the summer, or have a new patio for entertaining, or eat fresh vegetables you’ve grown in your garden or in containers on your patio, or you want to enjoy the full benefits of a tree that shades your favorite lounge chair … what we both do either misses out on these items, or we can make sure it happens by acting now.

In regards to your lawn, the goal for achieving a first-class turf is certainly desirable, although not necessarily simple to obtain.

Getting soil conditions and nutrients to be readily available to achieve conditions that favor growing turf more than weeds, and make the turf more resilient to fungus infections, is the goal for current beauty as well as for long-term success.

One thing you should consider, if you don’t already have one, is a sprinkler system. A sprinkler system is not only a convenience, but also saves on water costs and saves money that would otherwise be spent on extra weed control, fungicides, seeding repairs, and replacing shrubbery.

Few things can inspire us more than the beauty that nature displays each spring in your landscape. It is both our pleasure and privilege to work with you so you can enjoy it to the fullest.
